I don't know i go away for 4 months and the sky falls Wink Grin

Anyway, been gaming since mid 70s, primarily in 20-28mm and covering ACW to Sci Fi. Have found the SG concept ideal for small unit skirmish games and have been slowly building bits to give me some more options.

Welcome back mate. The old site might have bitten the dust but it's nice to see you're back safe and well.

It was that skirmish potential that I had in mind when I first bought my resin stargate.  Back then, games almost invariably involved an SG team taking the stargate from a small Goa'uld/Jaffa force and escaping back to earth.  Occasionally we did have other objectives though and sometimes the objective was to simply hold the gate location for a set number of turns while a Sam Carter type character made running repairs to a damaged DHD.

Back then GW Catachan jungle fighters made up my SG team and we used rules adapted from some skirmishes designed for Colonel Schaeffer's Last Chancers, from White Dwarf magazine.

Right now I'm thinking about putting an SG team into a Zombie-type-world - with a modernish urban setting. I would love to have the time and the get-up-and-go to develop some "survival horror" type scenarios; Stargate meets Resident Evil meets Silent Hill type thing.
